The first Soviet stereo film

In the traditional part "The archeology of cinema" the "Concert" ("The land of youth") by  Alexandr Andrievskiy will be shown on the VIII "Kinoproba". In February, 1941t his movie opened the first stereocinema in the world where stereo film might be seen without stereo glasses (Semen Ivanov's method). 

Stereofilm "Concert"  was reconstructed by the film expert Nikolay Mayorov and was transffered into a modern format by the State Film Fund of Russia. The program will be presented by Nikolay Mayorov himself, a film expert, a director (of photography as well), a prize winner of the Guild of Film Experts and Critics at the Union of Cinematographers of Russian Federation.
